Cairo Criminal Court will resume on Monday the trial of 131 Muslim Brotherhood figures including president Mohamed Morsy, elements of Hamas, Hizbollah as well as other groups over breaking into Egyptian prisons during the 25 January 2011 revolution. The case is known in the media as the "Wadi al-Natrun prison break" case.
The court is set to hear testimonies of the prosecution's witnesses.
The suspects face charges of breaking into Egyptian prisons, smuggling inmates and killing policemen and prisoners in Wadi al-Natrun and Abu Zaabal prisons during 2011.
